Imani Jones, 39, was waiting in the customer service line around 3:40 p.m. Sunday when she began cursing at employees at the 88th Street store, North Bergen Police Capt. William Lyons said.

She pulled out a can of pepper spray and began spraying employees at the desk and other customers, before punching and scratching employees behind the counter --two of whom were taken to local hospitals for treatment, police said.

A customer sustained a concussion when she was slammed against a wall, they said.

It didn't stop there.

Wielding a six-inch folding knife, Jones forced an employee to take her into a packing area room where she attempted to barricade herself and the man inside by placing objects in front of the doorway, according to Lyons.

Video footage captured by a customer shows Jones waving the knife around and yelling in the doorway of the room (ABOVE).

Responding officers told Jones to drop the knife, but she didn't listen, the captain said. The officers used pepper spray to disorient her, then knocked the knife from her hand.

Jones was charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, resisting arrest, weapons possession,  endangerment and disorderly conduct, among other counts.

She was being held in the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny pending a first appearance.
